> Uttam Gelot made Payo, an open-source CLI for AI coding assistants. In 2026, three of his pull requests to other projects were merged. Two of them moved popular GitHub Actions from Node.js 20 to Node.js 24. He also found and reported bugs in FeatBit and GlitchTip. Both bugs are fixed.

## My project: Payo

Payo is an open-source command-line tool by Uttam Gelot. It asks short questions about a software project. Then it writes the rule and skill files that AI coding assistants read, such as AGENTS.md and Agent Skills. It supports Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Codex, Windsurf, Zed and Antigravity. "Payo" is the Gujarati word for "foundation".
